Anspach House, Ashville, North Carolina

This unique mountain retreat home actually has a river flowing under the main living space. There is also a wine cellar that is accessed only from the river bank. The exterior of natural fieldstone was harvested from the site acreage. From the twin copper roofed spires that extend to 70 feet above the river, to the locust tree structured porte-cochere, to the various detailed stone arches, this creative design brings form and function together in a way that  blends naturally with the wooded setting. The Anspach House is spectacular from every exterior and interior viewpoint!
