This house on James Island just south of Charleston, SC,  was designed to reflect the casual and easy lifestyle of a  river house in the Bayou tradition. As the southern sun creeps across the sky, the free-flowing Spanish moss hanging downward from the giant oak trees patterns the house with an ever changing shadowy movement enhancing the “tree house concept”.
